Recommended Suspension Enhancement for a 2008 GMC C5500 Motorhome
Question:
I have a 2008 GMC C5500 diesel motorhome and want to improve the steering and sway of the vehicle. What items do you recommend that will fit my model? I watched a YouTube video and the anti-sway bars front/rear were in addition to existing OEM. Is this still the case or are the OEM parts replaced like Hellwig?

Steve, it sounds like you could benefit big time from a steering stabilizer # RM73RR if your GVWR is above 22,000, or # RM36RR if it's 22,000 or less.
This is not going to work with your OEM suspension so you'd have to remove the factory one, but it is going to help keep your steering tight and prevent it from wandering all over the road. You're also going to need the mounting kit # RM-RBK5 to actually mount it to your vehicle.
To further improve your suspension, you can also add a set of front # RM-1109-158 and rear # RM-1109-157 sway bars which can be used with your OEM suspension can be used together with everything mentioned to give you the best ride possible.

As I understand it the sway bars are installed with existing OEM part. Can you provide a Canadian distributor for these parts and/or do you ship to Canada?
